What is E-Juice, E-Liquid or Vape Juice?

e-Liquid is a vapable solution made of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerine (VG), pharmaceutical grade nicotine and artificial or natural flavouring. Propylene glycol is a common liquid that is used in many items that the average person consumes every day, for example: ready meals, aspirins and vitamins. 

Some people can have an allergy to this solution but it is very rare and only affects 1 in 100,000 people. Some e-liquids do not even contain propylene glycol and use only 100% VG. Vegetable glycerine is a natural solution that we consume and use every day as well; it can be found in cough syrup / medicine, inhalers. More PG means a greater 'throat hit' and better flavour, while more VG will give the juice a sweeter taste and will produce bigger clouds. Consider how you want your vaping experience to feel before choosing your vaping product online (e-liquid, e-juice or vape juice, as you prefer to call it) - if you're unsure then start with a 50/50 blend but if you want plenty of clouds from your vaping experience then go for a 70/30 mix upwards.

Vaping e-liquid, e-juice or vape juice has over 4,000 less chemicals than cigarettes. Although vaping devices are still being tested, it is now becoming law for e-liquid, e-juice or vape juice to be tested to government standards to make sure you are receiving a product that has what it says it has in it, which is more good news.

What varieties of -Juice, E-Liquid or Vape Juice are there?

e-Liquid comes in many flavours and strengths for example a tobacco flavoured vape liquid will come in strengths of 0mg (nicotine free) 1.5mg (0.15%) 3mg (0.3%) 6mg (0.6%) 12mg (1.2%) and 18mg (1.8%). The 1.8% maximum amount of nicotine in eliquid will become law as of May 2016. These amounts are based on weight by volume as a percentage or milligrams per millilitres. So a 3mg e-liquid will have 3mg of nicotine per ml of e-liquid and will be sold at a maximum of 10ml per bottle under new regulations.
